Lottex2’s mumble

Putting down whatever I feel

PC trouble!

Yesterday, I wrote an opinion and sent it to the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare to voice my opposition to the passage of a Vaccine Passport Bill.  Three hours later, my pc screen froze with a warning message from the Windows Defender security center saying that my computer had been infected with a “Trojan Horse” malware.

The voice guidance repeated that I should call the indicated phone number for support from their staff to resolve this problem. I felt something fishy in this accident, and I just shut down the pc by pushing ctl+alt+delete keys without clicking on the screen or dialing the number. Today I looked up the phone number of the Microsoft customer support center and called.

The guy of MS said that it would be a phishing scam pretending Microsoft to get my private info. I was terrified because I am not familiar with computer systems, and I was afraid that the pc malware virus would spread to my registered contacts causing severe trouble.

I’m worried that I have been monitored and censored by someone.  I’m a timid elderly.
